They made a cute seal friend  near Torrey Pines in San Diego, the little fella playing in front of their big stand up paddleboards cruising down the pristine coastline.

A short while after passing the seal Tuesday, Laguna Beach stand up  paddler James Pribram and friend Christian Gustavson heard a splashing behind them.

“I kind of looked back  about 50 yards, and we saw the seal  go under and this fin just chase it down,” Pribram said. “We never saw them pop back up.”
