Exciting Times!

Well it certainly has been very exciting to see all of the support for my paddle.  We have some amazing announcements to make which will be coming soon.

The Ellen episode re-aired last Friday which was really fun because people who had not seen it the first time it aired were so inspired to hear the story.

We will be having a new website coming soon that will give everyone an chance to be a part of Paddle With Purpose.

You can still get your Larry shirt.  I wore mine last weekend on a paddle up in Malibu.  Can’t wait to fill you all in with the new and exciting things that have been happening with Paddle With Purpose.  Stay tuned!  Below is a picture from a race i did last weekend in Santa Monica.  All the proceeds went to the Santa Monica Pier Restoration and Heal the Bay.  I’m in the top right in the yellow shirt.

The shot below is at the end of a 7 mile paddle off the coast of Palos Verdes.

Founded in 2010 by professional surfer Jodie Nelson, Paddle With Purpose, as of 2013, is officially a recognized 501c3 non-profit organization created to serve as a philanthropic extension of the sport of Stand Up Paddling. Grounded on the premise that empowerment motivates and inspires, PWP exists to raise awareness and funds for a variety of causes and movements. With over $150K raised through organized races, community events and an integral presence the action sports industry, PWP has been proven a successful and credible agent for action and change.
