We are sorry to announce that due to weather we will be postponing the BREAST LINK paddle at the NAC this weekend. We are working with Donna Valentine at BREAST LINK to determine a new date that works best for all patients after the holidays.

Come join Paddle With Purpose this Saturday for a fun time Paddling. Bring your family, we will have boards, paddles, and instruction for you so that you can leave all your cares on the beach for a fun time on the water. We will cater to your comfort level and get you out on the water in no time. Please RSVP at info@paddlewithpurpose.org so that we have enough volunteers to help everyone.
On August 10th Dave Cornthwite set out to swim 1000 miles between Chamberlain, South Dakota and St Louis, Missouri. Dave will be towing all of his gear with him on a carbon fibre raft and he will be escorted by a support team of 6 Stand Up Paddlers that will do the entire trek by his side. Paddle with Purpose had the pleasure of meeting Dave during the Trestles to TJ paddle. On that paddle we learned about the journey that Dave and his team was about to take on. Dave’s mission is perfectly aligned with Paddle With Purpose’s mission statement and we wanted to support Dave and Team as we are all hoping to help the group raise 100,000 pounds for UK-based breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel! 50 days, 20 miles a day. 1 man swimming 1000 miles, 6 people paddling 1000 miles. Stay tuned for updates on Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube from beginning to end.
Paddle With Purpose is helping to supply Dave with Swim Caps, we pledge to help spread the word, and we are contributing funds to help the team with their social media push. Please help us spread the word in getting the team to their fundraising goal! Paddle With Purpose will join Dave towards the end of his journey the end of September to see him to the finish line! GO DAVE GO! Did we mention that the Missouri River is one of the dirtiest stretches of river in North America? Let’s hope he can stay strong and healthy along the way!
